About Me
I am a portrait artist who predominantly works in monochrome on black, creating each piece with a moody feel through a play on lighting. However, I create my own collections that can be split into individual paintings.
I also take commissions and requests for bespoke portraits, which give me the opportunity to bring different photos and lighting into one cohesive picture. A challenge I always look forward to.
Painting brings me peace and calms my mind. It still amazes me how a shadow here and a highlight there can bring life and character to a flat shape on a piece of paper. I have always liked to study faces and see the little things that other people may not notice. I love how each face shows a person's history, each tiny scar or line or little quirk that makes each face individual.
